Genuine Parts Warranty Policy

All products sold from RFD Auto Parts are NEW and OEM Genuine Ford, Lincoln, and Motorcraft Parts supplied from a Genuine Ford/Lincoln Dealership.  All parts are shipped in the original packaging unless repackaged for safe shipping and transportation to be delivered.  All Ford, Lincoln, and Motorcraft parts carry a Two-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty from the date of purchase.  Any part found to be Warrantable due to manufacturer defect may be replaced under an Over-The-Counter Service Part Warranty at any Ford Dealership in the USA.  Your original Receipt/Invoice is required and must be present to have any Ford, Lincoln, or Motorcraft part warranted under a manufacturer defect.  If you do not have a receipt, please contact us directly at [email protected] to get a copy of your Original Purchase Receipt or Invoice.  

Manufacturer Defect Information Requirements:  Any part submitted for Warranty must have the following information to begin a claim at a Ford/Lincoln Dealer.  

1. Complete 17 Digit Vin# on the vehicle

2. Mileage that part was installed at, also need current mileage on the vehicle.

3. Concern or Reason part may be defective (Example, Engine running rough, module stopped working, part is warping).  The defect has to be a genuine defect and not (part does not fit, wrong color, broke during installation, damaged during shipping).

4. Diagnoses Results (Required no exceptions):  What diagnosis procedure was done to conclude that part has failed and is defective.  This included all results test results, fault codes, pinpoint tests, scan tool results and printouts.

5. Once all required information and documentation is gathered, please contact us to file a Warranty claim.  You may also take to any Ford Dealer in the US with this information to file a Service Part Warranty claim.  If you do have that Ford Dealer Diagnose the concern and they find that part is not defective or the cause of failure, you will be responsible for all Diagnosis and repair fees and charges from that dealer.  Please contact us with questions or more directions if needed.
